Welcome to Oatlands District High School

New School Logo 2019.png

Oatlands District High School provides quality education for students from birth through to Year 12. We are very proud to offer the Launching into Learning (LiL) and Learning in Families Together (LiFT) programs to our community. Our staff work collaboratively to deliver student-centred learning programs in a challenging, engaging and caring environment. Additionally, we strive to support all students to become resilient, well-informed young people. Our SMART values (Safety, Manners, Achievement, Respect, Together) underpin our day-to-day conduct at school and these are supported by the overarching values of the Department of Education - Aspiration, Courage, Growth and Respect. At our school, we endeavour to provide every student with the opportunity to reach his or her potential. This may be through core Australian Curriculum or through other programs such as Agriculture and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program. Oatlands is located between Hobart and Launceston, approximately 80km north of Hobart. Students attending Oatlands District High School come from the township of Oatlands itself, as well as surrounding areas including York Plains, Tunbridge, Tunnack, Parattah, Woodsdale, Levendale, Stonor and Kempton. We are a vibrant district school.
